The Suicide Epidemic

THE SUICIDE EPIDEMIC, THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL by Priscilla (Shira) Cushing Forward: "Rtn.Rev.Dr. A.Samuel Jayapaul, M.Min., D.Div., PG.Dip. in CC, India "If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are" (1Corinthians 3:17). "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's" (1Corinthians 6:19-20). It gives me great pleasure to give a foreword to the ebook ‘The Suicide Epidemic’ brought out by Shira Ruth Cushing. In the present day world, Last Days, Satan works vigorously to bring the people to his fold and drive them to hell. Satan has no power to kill people but he can drive them to get themselves killed and create situations that forces depression, sorrows, problems etc. As pointed out rightly suicide is an epidemic which takes toll of millions of people. Shira has taken enormous efforts and pains to bring out this book, which leaves nothing untold. She is bold enough to reveal her own example. I am fascinated by the way in which she has presented every thing with supportive authentic documents. I hope this book will enlighten all, not only those who have a mind to try suicide but for all who want to counsel people affected by this syndrome. I wish all the best and bless Pricilla that she must bring out such useful books in future. God Bless. With all good wishes, love and prayers. “God can use our awkwardness. Ministering to someone can be awkward and intimidating. However, when a farmer sows in a field, does he sit there and wonder if he should sow seed? No, he sows seed because nothing will be harvested if he does not. It is a simple act of faith.” - Shira
